Delhi elections: BJP to release party's vision document today, Bedi tweets her agenda as Kiran blueprint

Just few days ahead of Delhi elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will release its vision document for the national capital today.

Party president Amit Shah is likely to release the document at the BJP's office. Ahead of its release, party's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi said, "Vision document will be a result of team work. It will prepare Delhi for 2050. Vision will be to make Delhi a world class city."

Kiran Bedi promises something for everyone in the vision statement for Delhi. Last week Kiran Bedi had tweeted "Kiran blueprint" for Delhi in which she set agendas for housing, civic infrastructure, transport, cleanliness and women safety. Bedi's blueprint talks about 25-point program for safety of women.

Kiran Bedi's blueprint also emphasised on harnessing youth energy and potential to the fullest. "Education and skill development are imperative in ensuring an effective return on our demographic dividend" tweeted Bedi.

At a public rally in south west Delhi's Dwarka on Sunday, speaking before Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bedi said that women's security is "very high" on her agenda and detailed ways that she intended to involve citizens to ensure that security.

While opposition parties are claiming that it is BJP's fear in the polls that it has brought all its leaders in the field, Finance Minister and Delhi in-charge Arun Jaitley defended the party's polls strategy.

"AAP's agenda is fictional and not implementable. Our agenda is to make Delhi a global city not anarchic city", said Arun Jaitley.

The vision document is being released instead of a poll manifesto by the party for the upcoming Assembly polls.
