Narendra Modi to address rallies in Jamshedpur, Ranchi

After making a successful connect with the people of Chaibasa, and the record turnout of voters in the First Phase of Assembly election has boosted the confidence of the BJP in Jharkhand. For the Second Phase of the polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address two election rallies in Jamshedpur and Ranchi today. As per the schedule, PM Modi will address his first rally at Jamshedpur at around 11 am. His second rally will be held at Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.

The second phase polling for 20 seats will be held on December 2 in Baharagora, Ghatsila (ST), Potka (ST), Jugsalai (SC), Jamshedpur East, Jamshedpur West, Seraikella (ST), Chaibasa (ST), Majhgaon (ST), Jaganathpur (ST), Manoharpur (ST), Chakradharpur (ST), Kharsawan (ST), Tamar (ST), Torpa (ST), Khunti (ST), Mandar (ST), Sisai (ST), Simdega (ST), Kolebira (ST).

In the first phase of polling on November 25, a high turnout of nearly 62 per cent was recorded in the 13 Maoist-infested constituencies of the State. The Legislative Assembly in Jharkhand comprises 81 members.
