Sushma Swaraj’s first ‘stand- alone’ visit as India’s Minister for External Affairs to Bangladesh is a highly anticipated and much awaited one and the significance of it has not been lost on the media in Bangladesh.

During the three day visit Sushma Swaraj is slated to meet President Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her Bangladeshi counterpart Mahmmod Ali, Leader of the Opposition Raushan Ershad, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Prime Minister’s advisers Gowher Rizvi and Mashiur Rahman.
