Pawan Bansal should be send behind the Bars : Anurag Thakur

National President of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha Shri Anurag Thakur has said that it is victory for the BJYM that CBI questioned former Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal in the rail bribery case today. Anurag Thakur said the BJYM had highlighted the involvement of  Pawan Bansal in this case. This questioning by CBI validates the charges made by BJYM against Bansal.

Anurag Thakur said the BJYM had called for arrest of Pawan Bansal at many protest demonstrations in front of the residences of Pawan Bansal and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. It was the pressure created by BJYM that Pawan Bansal was forced to resign despite the PM giving him clean chit in this case.
Anurag Thakur also hoped that this questioning by the CBI would not be reduced to a mere formality and that it must reach its culmination by putting Pawan Bansal behind the bars. He said that Bansal should be sent behind the bars immediately as he won't be able to influence the inquiry. Anurag Thakur said that people want to know that on what basis Bansal’s nephew was taking money from Railway officer. Anurag Thakur said that it is an ethical defeat for PM Manmohan Singh to have given a clean chit to Pawan Bansal when the CBI is questioning Bansal in Railway Bribery Case.
